The Missouri Gaming Association (MGA) was established in 1993 to increase public awareness about the economic benefits of the casino entertainment industry in Missouri. We support our 13 member casinos and promote responsible gaming initiatives.
The Project 21 Scholarship program has awarded more than $193,000 in scholarships and educated hundreds of thousands of Missouri students about the issues and dangers of underage gambling.

The economic impact of Missouri casinos includes:
— More than 6,000 employees have secure jobs at the state’s casinos with good benefits, opportunities for advancement, and competitive salaries.
— The casinos have invested $3.5 billion right here in Missouri, building state-of-the-art casinos, entertainment complexes, and hotels.
— 10% of the gaming tax revenue goes directly to host communities to fund their priorities ($435.8 M in 2024.)

— Economic development and community recreation facilities, major events and support for area universities
Since 1994, Missouri gaming has funded:
– $357.5 million for the School Foundation Formula educational programs (elementary, secondary and early childhood)
– $395.1 million for veterans programs
Casinos also make major cash and in-kind donations ($677,641 in 2024) and volunteer hundreds of hours to support local charities, including those that serve veterans, children, pets, healthcare, and more.
